TECHNIQUE & INFLUENCE
Mon style est cadré, c'est principalement l'abstraction…un style qui m'attire pour sa liberté car elle travestit le factuel, le visible, l'exactitude et libère une autre émotion surréaliste.
Je me suis tournée vers l'abstrait et l'acrylique après de longues années où l'huile et le figuratif s'unissaient sur mes toiles ou tout autre support. Une certaine lassitude s'était installée et reproduire ce que mes yeux voyaient ne me suffisait plus. L'attrait n'était plus là et je ne peignais que rarement.
En 2011, sur une impulsion pour Anaïs (ma nièce), l'acrylique et l'abstrait sont entrés dans ma tête pour mon plus grand plaisir. Enfin ma peinture a pénétré la fusion de mes pensées, mes idées nouvelles, mes humeurs, au travers d'une autre technique. Dans le même esprit, le collage et l'application de matière, matériau composite, textile et autres entraînent mon imagination vers d'autres voies.
En peinture abstraite, l'abstraction est une vision libre qui réfléchit la pensée qu'elle dégage et que le créateur a insufflée. Ainsi, l'œuvre abstraite née de l'abstraction n'est ni une réplique de la réalité, ni une certitude, ni une erreur, elle est !… simplement une vue de l'esprit.
L'artiste y exhibe à sa manière, l'expression à travers un art, ses intimes évidences, son exercice de la vie.
L'abstraction n'a pas d'abstraction.
Miro, Klee, Kandinsky, Malevitch, Ernst, Mondrian, Picabia et bien d'autres, au début du XXe siècle, ont compris et créé l'essence même de l'art contemporain, l' "expression de la non-objectivité" : l'abstraction croisée au surréalisme.

My style is framed, it is mainly abstraction ... a style that attracts me for its freedom because it twists the factual, the visible, the accurate and releases another surreal feeling.
I turned to abstract acrylic after many years of oil and figurative united on my canvas or other media. A certain weariness had set in and to replicate what my eyes saw was not enough anymore. The attraction was there no more and I would rarely paint.
In 2011, on an impulse and for Anaïs (my niece), acrylic and abstraction came to my mind, to my delight. My painting finally merged all my thoughts, ideas, and moods through the use of another technique. In the same spirit, collage and the use of materials, composite materials, textile, and others, lead my imagination to other horizons.
In abstract painting, abstraction is a free vision that reflects the thought that emerges and that the creator has breathed into it. Thus, the abstract work born of abstraction is neither a replica of reality, nor a certainty. It is not a mistake either, it simply is! ... As simply what a soul sees.
The artist exhibits in his own way the expression of life through art, his intimate evidence, and his own pursuit of life.
Abstraction has no concept.
Klee, Kandinsky, Miro, Malevich, Ernst, Picabia and many others in the early twentieth century understood and created the essence of contemporary art, "the expression of the non-objectivity” : the abstraction crossed to surrealism.
